Dostumlar ne demek?

BU DOSTUM:

WOW!!!

Bu dostumlar!!!

Well, i came to Turkey on July 5, 2010… and it has been almost 3 months since i came here…Time is so fast, i believe…

Another “örnek”:

WOW!

Dostumlar...

I’ll admit that i learn more when under fire than when sitting comfortable in a corner…I don’t know whether i should share this or not, but, here it goes!

In this place called Türkiye, your friends are your fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters. Of course, almost everyone here can do the same for you, but…Iba talaga kapag kalahi mo na ang pinaguusapan, ‘di ba?

I admit that wala akong sakay, na minsan, puro masama ang iniisip ko sa tao, but i try to value my friends too much…whenever i can…

We may not be the best of friends, but we make sure that nothing goes in our way…and that we stay one and the same…

DOSTUMLAR!!!

I miss you all…and i love you all!!!

P.S.: I would like to share some words of a very great man (might or might not be paraphrased):

“Those who maintain a friendship with one who has fallen on hard times are true loyal friends. Those who do not support their friends during their misfortune have nothing to do with friendship.”

Tamam o zaman! Till nxt tym, pipz!!! ^_^

I will never give up…

I came already too far…

There’s no going back…

And if i would perish in this attempt…

Please send my regards to the white butterflies…

Who used to brighten my path every summer…

I’m quite tired, disappointed, disillusioned…

But i must go on!

Kara, kara, kara…
Kara, kara, kara…
Kara, kara, kara…

Ne oldu?
Siz hayatınız çok güzel
Ama, siz kara gordunuz…

Bak, neden?
Arkadaşlarınızla çok kötu?
Veya duyarsız insanlar var?

Kayboldunuz değil, de me?
Sabırsız degil, de me?
Rüyasız değil, de me?

Elhamdulillah, hep problem…
Cevap ve çozum var…
Insha Allah, siz hayatınız, beyaz gordunuz…

I just wanted to write a good blog in the Net.

But now, it has never become a reality.

As i go into my third attempt, i wonder: Is this really of use?

I just wanted to express myself, but sometimes, i find it very, very frustrating when almost nobody reads this page, let alone interact.

Sometimes, i just wish that i can just delete this page and go back somewhere else.

Ooof,ooof,ooof.

The sun is hot, the trees were still, the skies were blue, and the clouds were quickly dispersing away, as if someone told them to go away and have their business. It was May 2010, and I was still back in the Philippines, where vegetables were quite expensive (by our standards), and eggs were both cheap and small.

However, when I came to Istanbul around two months ago, there were no instant noodles, flavored tuna, or fish dishes! Worse, meat was prohibitively expensive! Instead, whenever I check the fridge, I find black and green olives (which I didn’t like), white cheese (which I never liked the taste), green vegetables, jams (which were made from cherries, strawberries, and apricots), different kinds of fruits, potatoes and…eggs!

Two weeks later, when I and my friends transferred to another house, the same food items appeared! And for one thing, we started to become weary of eating potatoes and eggs…We tried cooking them in different ways, but it turned out to be the same! I asked my friends:

“What do you have in your house?”

They all replied:

“Olives, white cheese, potatoes, and eggs. We are growing tired of eating them!”

It’s just the same with everyday life. Yes, we do wake up everyday, eat breakfast, go to school, eat lunch, study our lessons, do our homework, and so on, but do we still leave time for us to remember why we’re been created?

The modern age is so fast, so glittering, but at the same time, the more we expose ourselves to it, life loses its true meaning and simply becomes a monotonous routine.

All of us know that we were not created just to simply dissipate away our years, and that we were formed for a much higher purpose, right?

Therefore, we should not just work for the days that we exist in this place. It is a reality that we need food, shelter, clothes (i.e. material things) to survive, but at the same time, I believe that we should think and reflect on our real purposes. No one could say that there are no ways on how to do it; it’s up to us whether we will do it or not.

We don’t want our lives to be simply turned into mashed potatoes and eggs, right?
